What type of camera is the Hikvision DS-2CE72DF0T-F?

The Hikvision DS-2CE72DF0T-F is a 2MP high-definition indoor/outdoor fixed turret analog camera featuring Hikvision's advanced ColorVu Technology. Unlike standard infrared cameras that capture dark or black-and-white footage at night, this camera captures vibrant, full-color video 24/7. Equipped with an F1.0 super-aperture lens and an advanced sensor, it maximizes light gathering to ensure clear details even in low-light environments.

Does it support full-color night vision and white light illumination?

Yes, the DS-2CE72DF0T-F features continuous full-color night imaging supported by a built-in warm supplemental white light. The light reaches up to 20 meters (66 feet) in total darkness, providing soft, balanced illumination that illuminates surrounding areas without causing glare or blinding the lens. This makes it ideal for capturing important identity details like clothing colors and vehicle features at night.

What signal output and system compatibility does it offer?

This model offers maximum installation flexibility with its 4-in-1 switchable video output. It supports four selectable signal modes: TVI, AHD, CVI, and CVBS. Whether you are adding a camera to an existing analog surveillance system or setting up a brand-new high-definition Digital Video Recorder (DVR), the camera can easily switch signals via its integrated cable button.

Where can this camera be installed?

Built with a durable enclosure rated IP67 water and dust resistant, the DS-2CE72DF0T-F is suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments. Its robust build allows it to withstand rain, dust, and varying weather conditions, making it an excellent solution for residential homes, retail stores, office spaces, parking areas, and small business premises.
