What is the Hikvision DS-2CE72DF3T-F CCTV Camera?

The Hikvision DS-2CE72DF3T-F is a high-performance 2MP ColorVu Fixed Turret Camera engineered to deliver continuous 24/7 vivid, full-color video surveillance over analog coaxial cabling. Unlike standard IR surveillance cameras that capture black-and-white images during nighttime, this model leverages an advanced F1.0 super-aperture lens and a high-sensitivity sensor to render rich detail and color accuracy even in extreme darkness.

How does ColorVu Technology perform in total darkness?

Equipped with Hikvision’s flagship ColorVu Technology, the camera utilizes zero-lux light gathering through its large aperture, supported by built-in supplemental warm white light rated up to 40 meters distance. Additionally, true 130 dB Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) and 3D Digital Noise Reduction (3D DNR) eliminate glare and graininess, ensuring balanced exposure under severe backlighting conditions or dark environments.

What video outputs and system compatibilities does it support?

Designed for maximum deployment versatility, the DS-2CE72DF3T-F features a switchable 4-in-1 video output port that supports TVI, AHD, CVI, and CVBS (Analog) signals via a single switch button. This flexibility allows seamlessly integrating the camera into existing legacy DVR platforms or upgrading higher-definition Turbo HD surveillance systems without altering wiring infrastructure.

Where can this camera be installed?

Encased in a robust metal main body rated with IP67 weatherproofing, the camera operates reliably across demanding outdoor and indoor settings, including residential perimeter walls, commercial retail storefronts, warehouses, open parking lots, and corporate offices across harsh climatic conditions.
